Once Smart Images is installed, you can create rich images macros within a Confluence page,  add & edit images, create image maps, create dynamic galleries and sliders and perform the appropriate customizations through the different settings provided by the app

There are two ways to insert a Smart Images macro:

From the Editor Menu

From the inline Editor

The Confluence page must be published before adding the macro. Smart Images uses the Atlassian API to store images as attachments, which is not supported for draft content.
