Smart Terms Glossary is required to be installed on Confluence Data Center in order to use Smart Terms for Jira.

Once your glossary is created within Confluence, terms will be highlighted thanks to Smart Terms for Jira in the following apps:

  • Jira Software
  • Jira Service Management (JSM)

Smart Terms for Jira highlights terms when the following conditions are met:

  • Smart Terms for Confluence is installed
  • Application Link is established between Confluence and Jira sites
  • Smart Terms Glossary and Smart Terms for Jira have to be installed on the same organization base URL.
  • Confluence glossaries are selected in Smart Terms for Confluence configuration > Jira
