Permissions [On-premise]

ON-PREMISE ONLY: This feature is only available on the Confluence Server / Data center  platforms

On the Confluence On-premise version of Smart Terms, permissions to create terms are managed globally.

The following conditions are necessary to create terms in a space:

• The link to the Space glossary is not disabled in the space navigation sidebar
• The Space glossary and/or the User and Groups are permitted in the following screen (Confluence admin > Smart Terms configuration > Permissions)

If Groups and users restriction option is disabled (no restrictions are set), then the term creation permission will match the page creation permission within a space.
