Before jumping into the course player, learners can access the landing page and get an overview of the course.

The landing page is opened when:

  • The learner has not started the course yet
  • The learner clicks on the title or thumbnail

The landing page will display the following information:

  1. Thumbnail
  2. Quick information
    1. Space name: displays the course's target space. You can click on the space name to open the space catalog.
    2. Title
    3. Number of learners: number of users who have attended the course
    4. Average ratings: the average learners' ratings
    5. Creator's name
    6. Tags: displays the following tags when applicable: Exam, SCORM, Draft, Difficulty level
    7. Attempts: number of exam attempts taken
    8. Last updated date
  3. Course details: displays the course description
  4. Course languages
  5. Certification supported: Displayed when certification is enabled
  6. Labels and Categories
  7. Required skills: List of skills that are required to access the course
  8. Course requirements and informationthe following messages are displayed in the landing page when applicable:

    1. Exam start message
    2. Exam resume message
    3. Course overdue
    4. Expired session
    5. Required skill not gained
    6. New content message for visited courses with new major versions [CLOUD]
  9. Actions:
    1. Open the course by clicking on the Start, Resume, Revisit or Preview buttons
    2. Edit
    3. Insights
  10. Progress bar: This bar displays the learner's session progress. For example, if the learner has already viewed half of the course components, this bar will be half-filled.
  11. Certificate: Download the certificate
  12. Duration estimation and the number of sections and components in the course
  13. Table of contents

Hover over the Exam tag or the number of attempts to see the minimum pass score set for the exam

Course creators or contributors can start, resume or revisit the course only when Allow contributor enrollment is enabled.
